Openings for Field Technicians

We have immediate openings for full time field technicians in Construction Monitoring and Testing.  The position involves quality control monitoring and testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry and other building components.  Duties include testing on construction sites, laboratory testing, exploration field work with drill crews, and various support tasks.  The majority of the work is outdoors and may require out-of-town travel.

Experience Requirements
Successful candidates will have basic math, and good written and verbal communication skills.  Previous experience in construction monitoring or soil and materials laboratory testing, and current NICET or ACI certification would be a plus, but is not required.  Candidates must have a valid Ohio drivers license and a good driving record.

Certification
Training will be provided leading to NICET certification in soils testing and ACI certification in concrete testing.  Technicians are required to maintain a personal training record as part of our Quality Assurance program.

Responsibilities
You will work with contractors, material suppliers, engineers and architects on field assignments.  You will perform basic calculations and prepare written reports. You will learn from and work with experienced technicians and engineers who will help you to reach your personal goals. You will be expected to work toward and maintain appropriate certifications and will be assigned to projects that match your level of training and skills.
