EDP Consultants was formed in 1987 to provide a wide range of consulting services in the geosciences. The company immediately acquired the business and assets of Triggs & Associates. The predecessor company was formed in 1967 and grew to a highly respected geotechnical firm. EDP Consultants has built upon that reputation and has tripled in size expanding its business in the environmental and wetland areas. In addition to its consulting services, EDP Consultants offers a complete soil and materials laboratory and has five drill rigs ranging from a portable, light-weight, skid rig to truck mounted rigs.
